Current Multimap Layout (ME17.9.64)
A ME17.9.64 multimap file contains 4 selectable modes designed for distinct driving behaviors.
- Main power calibration
- Uses original ECU tables with increased ignition advance, VE changes, and RPM limits
- Same power base
- Overrun injection delay maps enabled for crackles
- Engine torque effectively disabled
- Achieved via VE suppression and RPM limit control
- Near-stock behavior
- Reduced responsiveness and output
Note: These maps are stored in a dedicated multimap memory region, separate from the base calibration.
What Tables Are Currently Switchable
At present, the switch region includes mainly combustion-critical tables:
- Ignition timing maps
- Volumetric efficiency (VE) tables
- RPM limiters
- Overrun injection delay maps
⚠️ Torque model maps are NOT yet present inside the switch area, meaning torque structure remains common across all modes.
Future Expandable Possibilities
With deeper reverse-engineering and validation, the following can be added per map:
- Driver wish maps
- Torque request & torque limiters
- Optimal engine torque maps
- Throttle valve angle control
- Requested engine load
- Throttle airflow modeling
- Lambda target maps
- Component protection lambda
